When plants exhibit growth and development deficiencies due to adverse abiotic conditions (such as drought, excessive rainfall, soil structure disruptions, etc.) and biotic stress, intervention through foliar feeding can address the nutritional gap, as plants may not effectively utilize soil nutrients under such conditions.
